CONTENT
The certificate is divided in 2 :
1. Evening Classes with Ingrid Plater, Isabelle Bourne, Marine Halna du Fretay and a team of Belgian and international experts
The classes aims to cover all the aspects linked to management of a luxury brand : brand management, production, sales, communication, marketing and retail to be applied to fashion, perfume, leather-goods, jewellery and gastronomy.
2. Saturday workshops with Nina Bodenhorst, Pauline Miko and Margaux Baert
You will learn how to make your own bag that will be displayed during MODESIGN ACADEMY Pop-Up Store in September 2019 as well as your own professional pictures.

COORDINATION
We gathered 5 women from Paris and Brussels having a long experience in the luxury sector to share their experience and to teach you their know-how.
Ingrid Plater : she worked for Hermès, Yves Saint-Laurent of Alain Mikli in Paris before launching her consulting agency in communication. She is now a teaching at MODESIGN ACADEMY
Isabelle Bourne : she worked for Azzedine Alaïa, Chanel and Dior before being the Director of Balenciaga, working with Nicolas Ghesquiere. She has now her own bag’s brand.
Marine Halna du Fretay : she managed the studio of Hermès and worked with Martin Margiela and Jean-Paul Gaultier. She designs now collection for high-end ready to wear, textile and is involved in the world of gastronomy.
Nina Bodenhorst : she worked for Delvaux and Nathan-Baume before lauching her own product & design studio : Niyona. She develops bespoke fine leather goods in her workshop in the center of Brussels and has been awarded best craftsman of the year 2016.
Pauline Miko : working as a photographer for a few years now, she has a talent to reveal products and people’s characteristics. All the pictures of this website site (pictures in studio and outside) are made by her within the frame of her studio Miko/Miko Studio.
Margaux Baert : graduated from Art school La Cambre, she explores the possibility of paper cutting and paper design. She is developping personal paper scenography with the students for the photos and the pop-up.

This program is for anyone interested in learning more about the luxury field; students, professionals in the field, professionals from other fields or entrepreneurs.

Every Wednesday evening – January 15th to June 24th 2020 from 6.30pm to 9.30pm @ MODESIGN ACADEMY, 48, rue de Stassart, 1050 Bruxelles.
2 Saturdays between April and June from 9.30am to 5.30pm @ NYONA, Rue de Laeken 86, 1000 Bruxelles.

The program is in English and there are no prerequisites

The fee is 2650 euros (workshop included but not the fabric used for the bag). The total amount has to be paid before the beginning of the program
IMPORTANT for entrepreneurs : if you are based in Brussels and have a VAT number there might be a possibility to have 50% refunded by the local authorities.
