NEW ! Certificate in Product Management with Fashion School ATELIER LANNAUX


MODESIGN ACADEMY teams up with ATELIER LANNAUX, the private school in Brussels for Fashion Design and Pattern Making. Founded in 1992 by Nadine Lannaux, who graduated from the Antwerp Academy, the school provides long-term program to work in the industry as fashion designer or pattern maker.

This Certificate in Product Management combines the DNA of both schools : brand management and stylism through this unique program.



Classes combine :

  • Management aspects such as price calculation, market analysis, selling in pop-up;
  • Creative aspects among which: moodboard conception, fabrics and patterns selection, stylims
  • Technical aspects by understanding and making of a skirt and a T-Top from A to Z (from selecting and cutting the fabric to sewing it after having made the pattern).

Those 3 aspects guarantee a good overview of the life of a product and the job a Product Manager.



Each class begins with 1.00 hour of theory about product management followed by 3 hours of practice in pattern making and fashion design.

  • Network with our experts, jury members and students from the Certificate in Luxury Management



Our team of 8 women from Paris, Brussels and London will share their own professional experience and teach you their know-how.

Nadine Lannaux: Graduated from Antwerp Fashion Academy. After few years as free-lance designer, she decided to launch her own school Atelier Lannaux in 1992. Her passion for quality, creativity, individuality and teaching has led her to shape the professional future of hundreds of students since then

Michèle Grenier: Graduated in Fashion Design, she teaches and co-ordinates Brussels public school EPS Saint-Luc Fashion Design. She also works as a fashion designer on live events for TV and is active in various field from communication to artistic and educational events organization and coordination.

Ingrid Plater: She worked for Hermès, Yves Saint-Laurent and Alain Mikli in Paris before launching her own consulting agency in communication. She is now a teaching at MODESIGN ACADEMY.

Cécile Corso: She is a professional seamstress specialized in pattern making from Switzerland. She works for several clients (theater, movie, fashion).

Isabelle Bourne: She worked for Azzedine Alaïa, Chanel and Dior before being Director of Balenciaga, where she worked with Nicolas Ghesquiere. She has now her own bags’ brand.

Pauline Miko : Working as a photographer for a few years now, she developed a talent to reveal products and people’s characteristics. She is the author of all pictures of our website (pictures in studio and outside).

Danielle Griffiths  is a free-lance stylist working for best magasines as well as for movie and music industry in London and Brussels. She is also the author of the book “Fashion Stylist Handbook“.



This program is for anyone interested in learning in making its own garments and understanding of the conception, technique and communication of it.

Every Saturday afternoon from February 3 to May 26 from 2.00pm to 6.00pm @ATELIER LANNAUX, Rue Henri Maubel 95, 1190 Forest.

The fee is 1.900 euros. The total amount has to be paid before the beginning of the program. It covers the making of the skirt but not the personalised T-Top.
